The carer's account status is required to remain in "Active" status before deceased (death) to be entitled to bereavement benefits.
The bereavement benefits will be forfeited upon frozen, termination or closure of the carer account.
To faciliate payment collection, beneficiary is required to visit physically at Gathercare HQ office and provide the following necessary supporting documents
1. Death Certificate [Certified True Copy (CTC)]
2. Discharge Note [Certified True Copy (CTC)]
The carer's beneficiary only include immediate family members. Beneficiary information can only be updated or changed after 6 months.
After the carer deceased, modifications to the beneficiary recipient's details are not permitted
